The thing about boss battles...

Since this has been on topic lately, i've been pondering about me own most-epic-5-bosses

I would say they are as follows:

1. Jon Irenicus (Baldurs Gate 2: Shadows of Amn)
2. Ganondorf (Zelda Ocarina of Time)
3. Saren Arterius (Mass effect)
4. Dagoth Ur (Morrowind)
5. Dr Robotnik (Sonic the Hedgehog)

Yes, that about sums it up! Yes....

  4. SPOILER ALERT!!!

You fought Irenicus twice and he was his mage form both times. The difference was that the second and last time you beat him, you first met him as living, and shortly after that you both died and had to fight in hell.

True that saren and dagoth ur BATTLES wasn't that cool, but I really enjoyed them as antagonists.

    Frisky no, just no.

  5. Magma Spider would kick Dr Irenicus arse.

Also, re: Saren. I agree that the actual boss battle wasn't all that much fun and I actually felt more threatened by Sovereign that him. However, it's one of those wonderful "use diplomacy" end battles where you can actually win by talking. See: Fallout-games. The scope, and that aspect of the design, of the Saren battle is why I don't feel you need to be chastised with a rolled up newspaper for mentioning it.

PS. Magma Spider would kick Dr Saren's arse. DS.
